Taryn founded Brand Urban in order to bring a specialized and thoughtful approach to her real estate tenant representation and landlord advisory business. Her passion, paired with her fundamental values as a real estate brand ambassador have allowed her to mesh with the hospitality, retail and wellness world in a manner that creates true interest alignment. 

Recognized by Crains New York Business as one of its 2023 Notable Leaders in Real Estate, Taryn is known for her ability to develop and execute real estate growth strategies for her clients. Past clients over the years have included Sweetgreen,  Starbucks, Sugarfish and Outdoor Voices in the Greater New York Metro. Since launching Brand Urban, clients include Uchi Restaurants, Puttshack, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, Shake Shack, Wthn Acupuncture and Sezane in the New York Metro Region. Taryn has additionally built a niche, master-brokerage and consulting platform where she acts as a strategic real estate advisor for growth-stage brands including Planta Restaurants, Maman, Cactus Club and Quality Branded Restaurant Group. She has the privilege of sitting on the Board of Directors for Maman, utilizing her national real estate expertise and network to grow the company into a recognized lifestyle brand. 

Additionally, Taryn’s excitement for hospitality, placemaking and re-imagining retail projects built the foundation for Brand Urban’s Landlord advisory and consulting platform.  Current projects today include the retail merchandising for ICONIQ Capital’s ‘Sentral Living’ national portfolio, as well as the food & beverage repositioning at RXR and Blackstone’s Starrett Lehigh Building in New York City.

Prior to launching Brand Urban in 2019, Taryn worked at SCG Retail, an urban division of The Shopping Center Group based in New York City. Active in the community, Taryn is a member of the New York City Hospitality Alliance and sits on the UJA Federation Real Estate Steering Committee. Taryn earned a BS degree from Tufts University and now resides on the Upper West Side in New York City.

Emily Green joined Brand Urban in 2019 to pursue her passion for retail, restaurants, and real estate. She specializes in Tenant and Landlord representation in major metro markets nationwide, with a focus on her home base, New York City and the Tristate. Emily threads market knowledge and data-driven analysis with extensive experience as the target customer to develop and execute on her clients’ unique real estate growth and place making strategies. Emily plays an integral role in the multi-unit rollouts of Maman, Van Leeuwen, Puttshack, Shake Shack, WTHN, Cactus Club Cafe and Quality Branded Restaurants. Emily also partners with Landlords such as Urban Edge, Federal Realty, Prudential, and Charter Realty & Development Corporation to implement innovative merchandising strategies in select high-profile lifestyle assets. Emily is highly committed to collaboration and a team-minded approach. Emily is proud to have been recognized by the Commercial Observer among the Top Young Leasing and Sales Professionals in 2021. 

Previously, Emily worked at Walmart eCommerce as a Business Development Specialist. During her tenure she was instrumental in leading business development and expanding Walmart’s consumer offerings by on-boarding over 35 new third party retailers and 10 new brands onto Walmart.com. Always keeping the customer in mind, she activated unique growth opportunities for each brand that aligned with the customer’s needs. She brings her client services, strategy development, and brand management expertise to the team. 

Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Vanderbilt University. She is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Alexandra Yanoff is a commercial real estate professional specializing in tenant and landlord representation in the New York metro area and nationally.  

Alexandra implements real estate strategies for both established and emerging retailers and develops national site selection throughout the country utilizing a multi-tier analytical and demographic approach to match the tenant requirements of major brands. Some of the brands she is currently working with are Planta, Rosa Mexicano, Puttshack, Sezane, Yardbird, and Uchi.  

Prior to joining Brand Urban, Alexandra worked at Newmark Knight Frank where she was awarded Newmark Knight Frank Rising Star 2020. While at Newmark, Alexandra’s clients included Deckers Brands, Rumble Boxing, Citibank, Roller Rabbit and 120%lino. Most notably, she facilitated the relocation of UGG’s Midtown Fifth Avenue flagship store which was one of The Real Deal: Manhattan’s Most Valuable Retail Leases of 2019.

Christine has a decade of experience in real estate development marketing and placemaking. At Brand Urban, Christine established the placemaking department and works with municipalities, high-profile developers and hospitality brands. Her brand-first approach brings unique environments to life, connecting projects with their target audiences and curating standout ground floor and amenity experiences. Christine's expertise spans both ground-up and existing real estate projects, evident in her in-house roles, consulting practice, and creative collaborations. With strengths in anchor leasing, hospitality & amenity partnerships, brand positioning, trend forecasting, and value-add business development Christine knows how to make a place, a place.

She currently spearheads the placemaking initiative at EDC's Bush Terminal, and is also shaping the retail ground floor experience for Urby and ICONIQ Capital's 'Sentral Living' national portfolios. Christine has also worked on food & beverage repositioning for clients like Caldera House and RXR and Blackstone’s Starrett Lehigh Building in New York City.

Beyond her work with major developers, Christine is committed to nurturing independent brands. She represents beloved names in food & beverage, fashion, and lifestyle, including Club Vintage, Domodomo, Public Records and Susan Alexandra. This dual focus on large-scale projects and emerging brands showcases Christine's versatility and her finger on the pulse of current market trends.

Christine Nebiar served as the Managing Director of Marketing and Business Development at Urby, a pioneering force in the residential real estate industry, before diving into placemaking consulting and entering the commercial brokerage world. Before that, Christine got her start alongside creative leaders at Youngwoo & Associates, Fernando Romero Architects, SPIN Magazine, and Alexander Wang.

After nearly 10 years working across diverse industries in Marketing and Public Relations, Jennifer joined the Brand Urban team in the fall of 2022 as a Client Services Manager and Executive Assistant. Jennifer’s experience involves bringing brands to life through media and experiential marketing, with a strong background in garnering brand awareness and affinity. Jennifer has been recognized for her collaborative nature and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. At Brand Urban, she helps support and manage the company's client services and marketing platform, along with aiding the CEO as an executive assistant and office manager. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Michigan and recently became a certified Health Coach.
